To avoid creating an illustrated book with over 50 dragons not looking similar you have to read and follow the source material, create a narrative and pick up on all the small but important details then let the narrative lead the artwork and layout. These were a labour of love during the Covid 19 lockdown. An escape to an imaginary world where supremely talented artist Alessandra Fusi brought my sketches to life. Each page has a sumptuous dragon artwork and tale from around the world.
