CBBC’s Strange Hill High aired on CBBC for two seasons to rave reviews. Voice actors included
Richard Ayoade, Caroline Aherne and Doc Brown.
The concept was created by the Simpson’s showrunner Josh Weinstein.

This comedy-adventure series was created using an animation technique that combines puppetry, Japanese vinyl toys and digital effects. The story follows the unusual and absurd occurrences that happen at the inner-city school.

We were invited by Freemantle Media to pitch alongside 5 other publishers for the UK Rights. After a few days of work including a dummy stitched by my mother-in-law, we won the pitch!
After which we worked closely with Josh Weinstein to create the right tone for Mitchell.

As the series was new I was able to help build the visual style for SHH.

We visited the studio in Manchester where it was filmed and animated. I was able to help build some background scenes of a classroom in series two.
